Transfers – By Appointment Only
Schedule your transfer in advance; do not come without an appointment.
You will receive a text or email when your firearm is ready for pickup. Only come after notification.

Current Wisconsin driver’s license
If your address has changed: provide proof of current address
(utility bill, car registration, voter ID, etc.)Alien residents: bring your Green Card
Temporary driver’s licenses are not accepted

Important Transfer Rules
Purchaser must be present for transfer; otherwise, it is considered a straw purchase.
If denied in background check or suspected of straw purchase:
$40 transfer fee
$50 repackaging fee
Any shipping/freight costs
The firearm will be returned to the seller only after all fees are paid.
Eligibility to Purchase in Wisconsin
Federal Restrictions
You cannot purchase a firearm if you are:
A felon
A fugitive from justice
An unlawful drug user
Adjudicated mentally defective
An illegal alien
Dishonorably discharged from the military
Have renounced U.S. citizenship
Subject to a protection/restraining order
Convicted of domestic violence misdemeanor
Under felony indictment
Wisconsin Restrictions
You cannot purchase a firearm if:
Under 18 for rifles/shotguns
Under 21 for handguns (exceptions for military/law enforcement)
Subject to certain restraining orders or criminal convictions
Your firearm rights are revoked or suspended
Residency Requirements
Wisconsin residency required for handgun purchases
Long guns may be purchased by out-of-state residents if legal in their home state
Non-resident aliens must provide proper federal documentation
Other Notes
Wisconsin has no mandatory waiting period
Multiple firearms may be transferred in a single transaction
Each additional transaction requires a new background check
